Korean sound changes

The ten rules that make spoken Korean sound different from its spelling, from final consonants to 한국말 said hangungmal. For anyone who can read Hangul and still cannot follow it spoken.

Unit 1 · The end of the block

Day 1The seven final soundsAny consonant at the bottom of a block is said as one of seven sounds.Day 2Sliding into the next blockA final consonant moves into the next block when that block starts with a vowel.Day 3The disappearing ㅎFinal ㅎ is silent before a vowel, and a block-initial ㅎ fades after ㄴ ㄹ ㅁ ㅇ.
