-(으)ㄹ 거예요, going to

Pattern

[stem] + ㄹ / 을 거예요

After a vowel add ㄹ 거예요 (갈 거예요), and a stem already ending in ㄹ adds 거예요 directly (살 거예요). After other consonants it is 을 거예요 (먹을 거예요). Literally it is 'it is the thing I will do', a noun phrase finished off with 예요, which is why it looks like the copula. It is the everyday way to talk about plans.

The mistake to avoid

Time words such as 주말 and 다음 주 take 에, but 내일, 오늘 and 어제 do not: 내일 갈 거예요.
