에, at, to and on (place and time)

Pattern

[Place] 에 있어요 / 가요 · [Time] 에

에 points at a spot. With 있어요 and 없어요 it is where something is, with 가요 and 와요 it is where you are going, and with a time word it is when: 세 시에, 토요일에. It never marks the place where an action happens; that job belongs to 에서.

The mistake to avoid

오늘, 내일, 어제 and 지금 never take 에. Say 내일 가요, not 내일에 가요.
